Eating organic is healthier than junk food

 ·         Is the food we eat Healthy and safe?

In my opinion the food we eat is not healthy. Most of the people in the world are eating fast food because they don’t have enough time to cook their own meals or because they’re just too lazy. These people just don’t have the knowledge about what they’re putting into their bodies. These kinds of foods are the cause of more people becoming obese. Supermarkets sell foods that are processed and not organic. People rather buy those processed foods because they are cheaper than the organic foods, but what they don’t know is that these foods can result more expensive than buying organic food. Processed foods are usually cheaper than organic food, but what people are buying when they buy processed food at supermarkets, they’re buying food with chemicals that factory farming uses to produce more, and also these foods have a lot of fat that sometimes it can be dangerous for so many people. “Another health concern is that antibiotics are routinely fed to animals and birds to help them grow quickly in crowded, dirty conditions,” says a report called “They Unhealthy Meat Market”. Factory farmers uses antibiotics so their animals and birds can grow faster, meanwhile, in a farm animals and birds grow slower than in a factory farm because they don’t use too many antibiotics or chemicals. In conclusion, sometimes buying food that’s cheaper can be a way to save money but we also have to think about what is healthier for ourselves.

  •          My eating Habits

First, I would like to tell you guys that I don’t eat healthy at all, simply because I’m so picky while eating. I don’t like vegetables, fruits or vegetables. The only fruits I like are apples, bananas, oranges (I only extract the juice of the fruits and then throw it away. J), and sometimes I eat strawberries but not that much. The only time I eat vegetables is on soup but not always. Also I hate beans, I don’t eat beans at all! I don’t really eat so much I only eat once in a day because I don’t get appetite, and plus I get full with super small portion of foods (My friends are always complaining why I don’t eat). I don’t eat fast food because I know they get me fat and I don’t want to get fat, I don’t eat hamburgers, French fries (only once in a while and a small portion, but only homemade French fries J). Second, I don’t buy food my mom does, and she does the grocery in supermarkets, we don’t eat organic food that much, but she tries to always cook food with no fats (She loves to eat healthy and specially she eats a lot of salads and beans, it is something we’re always fighting about J). In my house we’re always taking care of our weight even though I feel like I’m going out of shape because this winter got me in home and I can go to the gym, Lol. Well, now I think you all are wondering what do I eat? As you all know I don’t eat fruits or veggies, the only food I eat is meat. I love meat, specially chicken but after seeing the video about “Super Market Secret and Deceptions” I think I hate it! Seafood? I used to like seafood when I was in my country but in this country I feel like, it just isn’t the same. Lastly, I got to tell that I love chocolate! Chocolate just drives me crazy! I eat chocolate all the time, there’s never enough for me when it becomes to chocolate. It is something I just can’t get away from. However, I love cooking! But I don’t cook that much L Every time I cook I try to not to use too much fatness, also we think that food prepare in restaurants food is made with too many flavoring that gives you fatness that aren’t healthy for yourself. Now guys don’t judge me, I know I’m crazy but that’s how I am. J

The struggles of a young man in America

Jamal was a black 16 year old teenager who had passions for writing. He had a dream about becoming a writer, but not everything was perfect in his life. Jamal lived with his mom in a small apartment, in a black neighborhood without any possibility of expecting for more. They were poor and they had only the money enough to survive. He couldn’t even think about going to a school where his dreams could become true because his mom couldn’t afford a paid school. Jamal went to a public school in his community, but it didn’t give him what he needed to become a writer. Every day he used to write on a journal that he had. He used to write quotes from books or things that were happening to him. One day, Jamal received the news that he was accepted in a school of higher levels of education, and he got a scholarship for his good grade on the writing test he took. It was an opportunity for him to become the writer he wanted to be.
When Jamal transferred to this new school he had to affront many challenges. He went to this school not only for writing but basketball. No one in the basketball team liked him because of his skin color, and neither his English teacher liked him because he thought that no black man could succeed. Once, when they were in a class Jamal showed to his professor that he could be smarter than he thought:
Prof. Robert Kicking out of class Jamal for embarrassing him.
Prof. Robert Crawford: Perhaps the challenge should have been directed elsewhere. "It is a melancholy truth that even...
Jamal: "great men have poor relations" Dickens.
Prof. Robert Crawford: "You will hear the beat of..."
Jamal: Kipling.
Prof. Robert Crawford: "All great truths begin..."
Jamal: Shaw.
Prof. Robert Crawford: "Man is the only animal...
Jamal: "that blushes... or needs to." That's Mark Twain.
Jamal: Come on, Professor Crawford...
Prof. Robert Crawford: [shouting] Get out!
Prof. Robert Crawford: [whispered] Get... out.
Jamal: Yeah. I'll get out.
Jamal embarrassed his professor in front of everyone else in the class, but he only wanted to show him that he wasn’t the only one who could be smart, and blacks also can succeed. After this incident happened in their class, and his Professor Robert Crawford try to kick him out of the school. Jamal had to do a writing as homework for his class, so he took one the writings he did with William, his friends, but this writing had the same title and the same ideas from another writing that was written by William. He never allowed Jamal to present this writing as his, but Jamal did it anyway because he had no other choice, and he had to show to Robert that he could be a good writer. Therefore, Jamal presented the essay as he was the owner. Prof. Robert accused Jamal for doing plagiarism, but Jamal never really knew that the writing was already published. The only way for Jamal to stay at school was because of basketball. The only way for Jamal to stay at school was because of basketball. Jamal had the last chance to play on the final game of basketball and win the game, so he can stay at school, but he decided to lose the game instead. He wanted to show to Prof. Robert that he could stay at school for his talent and not for basketball.
This story teaches us to fight for our dreams. Sometimes it seems like our dreams are fading away because of one mistake we make, but that’s like. First we have to fail in order to get where we want to be. Jamal gives us the moral to never give up on our dreams. Eventhough, he had to trough many struggles in his life, he always fought for what he wanted no matter what. In my opinion, Jamal did good missing the shots because it wasn’t what he wanted for himself. He wanted to stay at school to become a writer and eventhough, it was the only way for him to stay in school, it wasn’t the right way.
